    I am learning so much from this book about how to deal with my disease. it covers the what, the why and the how of self-care for an overweight, out of shape diabetic. It lays out a case based on the best science and research, and that is just what I need.

    Having Diabetes 2 I’ve been searching for an all-inclusive book of sound medical information in layperson’s terminology, along with practical advice including charts, menu planning and motivational techniques. This book has it all in an easily readable format. I needed help creating menus for a 1200 calorie diet for weight loss. And I was able to do that by looking at several chapters.
    This has been the help I’ve needed!
    The only downside of the book is that each chapter is written by a different professional (doctors, dietitians etc.) so there was repetition. The book is large with illustrations and large print.
    This is an outstanding book that covers it all. I’d highly recommend it.

    If you are a DIABETIC buy this book !!!!!!! I have beat DIABETES !!!! I AM SERIOUS I HAVE !! You do have to watch what you eat and at least do a lot of wlking if your sitting on you hinny at work all day !! I lost 30 lbs down from 326 to 290 🙂
